Tis the season to celebrate the rebirth of our sun! We’re excited for a new season of planting from which bounties of fruit will come for our meals and our brews. Winter craft beers and ciders now available.
Origine People Power Beer
Style: Caribbean Black Cake Porter
Look: deep copper brown, short tan head
Smell: forward notes of sweet malt and stonefruit
Taste: sweet and rich, notes of roast and honey compliment fruit flavors; flavor is soft, not bitter or overwhelming in any direction; light heat/booze flavor from the rum.
Feel: soft and smooth, almost cloud/pillow-like; medium bodied, not heavy or viscous
Island to Island Indian Corn
Style: Brut IPA
Look: hazy, light straw colored
Smell: citrus and pine hop notes, dry graininess
Taste: very hop forward, lightly bitter, and beautifully balanced with a crisp, semi-dry finish
Feel: thin bodied, smooth
Island to Island Cranberry Tripel
Cranberries really dominate this one – the aroma is strong and pleasant, and the flavor matches with a tart & sweet cranberry-forward taste. The beer itself seems very subdued, and this almost has a shandy-like experience in terms of beer/fruit balance. Color is a light pink with a white head.
