About the Women’s Brew Day Brews

For an entire month Island to Island Brewery has been mashing grains, managing sparge water temperatures, testing pH & gravities, cleaning kegs and racking beers for collaboration beer releases with Funky Picnic, Hop Fusion Aleworks and Martin House Brewing a alongside the amazing women in craft beer of North Texas. Come experience the community while sipping on our new collaboration releases March 6, 2020 at Craft and Growler in Dallas, TX or on March 8, 2020 during our Ale Wives Beer and Dinner Pairing at The Bearded Lady FW.

Funky Picnic

“Every King Needs Her Crown” Strong Belgian Double with figs. A strong ale fermented with figs and talks of it being pressed with Rosemary. Hopped with the Pink Boots Society – NTX Chapter 2020 hop blend. It’s hoppy, strong and aromatic drinking like a hoppy red bursting with the spiciness of a Belgian with no taste of the 9% alcohol it contains.

Hop Fusion

“She’s Nameless” A clean soured Berliner Weisse, hopped with the Sorachi Ace in the hop blend. It’s crystal clear, refreshing like a hot summer’s lemonade and drinks like Limoncello. You’ll fall in love with this brew so grab a growler for the summertime.

“My Pretty Lady” IPA brew day. Wheat IPA hopped with the Pink Boots Society – NTX Chapter 2020 hop blend. It’s smooth, aromatic not overly hoppy making it very approachable for IPA newbies.
