You’re invited to take part in the festivities for the opening of, “WHERE DID WE GO WRONG?” a solo exhibition by Jeff Rothberg presented by Island to Island Brewery and sponsored by Brooklyn Jun Brew. Jeff Rothberg
is a true New York City artist, born in Manhattan and raised out in Brooklyn. Besides creating art since he was a young lad, Jeff is a graduate of Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY) where he received his BFA in Communication Design. He’s best known for his digital and fine art work.
His influences include Jackie Robinson, Michael Jordan, Don Mattingly, Ken Griffey Jr., Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Pete Sampras, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Bill Murray, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Beastie Boys, Dave Grohl, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Van Gogh, Lichtenstein, Norman Rockwell, Picasso, James Rizzi, Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey (Obey), Banksy, Frank Morrison and Dr. Seuss. Some of Jeff’s mediums consist of digital / graphic design, painting, drawing, clothing, photography, silk screen, lino print, stained glass, ceramics and videography.
Some of Jeff’s notable works include creating and art directing the album cover art for French Montana’s hit singles “Shot Caller,” “Shot Caller Remix” and “Everything’s A Go.” His most recent highly successful pieces, “BATTLE IN BROOKLYN,” “I SIT WITH KAEPERNICK” and “ALL FUN AND GAMES” have continued to catapult his name toward being one of the more creative and smart-assed artists in the world.
