11 Aug West Indian American Carnival 2017
Carnival 2017 Season
Known by most as the West Indian Day Parade, is more like a Caribbean Month of Celebration!
Starting from August Monday the West Indian community in Brooklyn start gathering for practice, crafting, planning and fundraising for all the official festivities hosted by WIADCA while putting on small family or mass camp fetes.
These individual fetes taking place at Mas Camps are rehearsals for the Moko Jumbie, Pan Players, Mas Players and world renowned Caribbean Artists as they prepare to compete in Kiddie Carnival, Panorama, J’ouvert and during the main Parade. It’s all partying, it’s all competition and it’s all love for our native culture!
Caribbean Foodie Weekend
All August long we’ll be serving West IndianTapas with our weekly juice and beer releases.
Corn Soup will be available labor day weekend during the Carnival festivities.
The first Saturday and Sunday of September DaleView Biscuits and Beer will be hosting special pre-fete brunches for visitors participating in the various fetes and West Indian Day parade. Book your brunch seating now before we fill up. Get Brunch Tickets⇢
